Press release

Reach working heights of over six metres in record time – alone and safer than even before? It’s now possible with the new Günzburger Steigtechnik FlexxTower. The scaffolding produced by the Bavarian quality manufacturer can be assembled and disassembled by a single person without the need for tools, and provides adequate space for two people on its working platform. The 3-T method (Through The Trapdoor) ensures maximum safety at work: users are therefore always safe. Thanks to its contribution to added safety at work, the new FlexxTower has already been admitted to the BG BAU Occupational Safety Premium Programme. Additional bonuses in everyday work: The scaffolding is very lightweight and stands out on account of its compact dimensions. A trolley can also be constructed from a few components.

“Its name says it all with our FlexxTower: whether you work in construction, trade or in industry, the new one-person scaffolding means that individuals can now work flexibly and totally independently of others at a height – without compromising safety at work. We are offering users real added value in terms of handling and safety with the FlexxTower and are once again being true to our slogan ‘Climb smart.’ This underlines our claim to be an innovation and technology leader,” explains Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

FlexxTower is assembled in an instant

The new FlexxTower has a platform height of 4.10 metres so that working heights of up to 6.10 metres can be reached. The scaffolding can also be assembled in spaces with lower ceiling heights for lower workplaces. The FlexxTower therefore complies with all applicable regulations and conforms to DIN EN 1004. The simple, fast and tool-free assembly of the new product uses the 3-T method (Through The Trapdoor) so that users are always in a safe place, thanks to the pre-assembled double railings, and can rely on a high degree of safety at work. The handy and lightweight aluminium components are suspended on the platform's pull-out suspension brackets (1.20 x 0.60 metres) and so can be simply and easily taken from level to level. Quick-release fasteners and scaffolding claws provide for fast and efficient assembly without the need for tools.

The FlexxTower’s folding triangular outriggers fitted with swivel feet provide maximum stability. They can be infinitely adjusted on the tubular framework of the scaffolding. Height-adjustable castors also help to compensate for uneven surfaces.

Thanks to its contribution to added safety at work, the FlexxTower has already been admitted to the Professional Association for the Construction Industry (BG BAU) Occupational Safety Premium Programme. Users can therefore obtain subsidies when purchasing a one-person Günzburger Steigtechnik scaffolding system: BG BAU will assume 25 percent of the procurement costs up to a maximum of €500.

Suitable for transporting in narrow passages

Apart from outstanding work safety, the new scaffolding system also stands out in everyday work due to its light weight, which massively simplifies handling in warehouses, in transport and on site. A trolley can also be constructed from a few components without the need for tools, in which the remaining scaffolding parts or even other materials can be quickly and especially ergonomically transported. The FlexxTower therefore fits through most doorways but can also be transported in many commercial vehicles.

As with all products, Günzburger Steigtechnik has also made no compromises with the quality of the FlexxTower. “The new one-person scaffolding system also complies with our ‘Made in Germany’ certified proof of origin claim, and we also offer a 15-year warranty with all other products from our standard range,” stresses Ferdinand Munk.
