New standards: The MUNK Group's ergo platform revolutionises mobile scaffolding
At Arbeitsschutz Aktuell in Stuttgart, the MUNK Group will be demonstrating how modern working at height can be made safer and more efficient. One highlight is the brand new ergo platform for mobile scaffolding, which scores with up to 40% less weight and exceptional ergonomics. Made from an innovative composite material, the platform impresses with a weight reduction of up to 7 kg compared to conventional wooden screen printing plates. This not only makes it lighter, but also more durable and robust. Its versatility is evident in mobile scaffolding with lengths of up to 3 metres, for which it offers optimal conditions.
‘With the ergo platform, we are setting new standards in terms of ergonomics for mobile scaffolding,’ explains Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the MUNK Group. The goal is clear: tangible added value for skilled workers who depend on reliable and practical solutions on a daily basis.
In addition to the ergo platform, the MUNK Group will be presenting versatile products such as ladders, work platforms and the flexible FlexxTower, a one-person scaffold for a wide range of applications. With innovation and quality, the company shows how access equipment is being taken to the next level.

As a special highlight, the quality manufacturer from Bavaria will be presenting the new FlexxTower SGX in Hall C6 (Stand 233): the new SGX version of the one-person scaffolding has three levels instead of two, is equipped with the ergo platform as standard and can be assembled by just one person without tools.
His company has already been awarded the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Enterprises several times - now the owner and managing director himself, together with his wife Ruth Munk, has been honoured with the special prize for lifetime achievement: Ferdinand Munk has been managing the Munk Group, based in Günzburg and Leipheim, for 42 years and has been shaping the world of occupational safety with innovative access and rescue technology for just as long and just as successfully.
Start of training: Flying high with access equipment
The start of September was equally exciting for the Munk Group and six young people, as they took the first step towards their professional future when they began their apprenticeships at the family-run company. Over the next three years, they will complete their apprenticeships as industrial clerks, metalworkers specialising in construction technology and warehouse logistics specialists.
