As part of the recently announced education hackathon organised in collaboration with Dossenberger Gymnasium, the Israeli innovation programme FutureWize and the Günzburg District Office, we were delighted to welcome pupils from Dossenberger Gymnasium to our premises for a tour last Monday.
During the visit, they gained fascinating insights into our company and the areas in which we work. We look forward to continuing our collaboration on this project and to our ongoing exchange of ideas.

INTERSCHUTZ 2026 is now behind us. Six intense days at the trade fair have shown that the MUNK Group is ideally positioned with its products, innovations and team.

The new products and solutions on display met with great interest and an enthusiastic response from the trade visitors. Numerous discussions, strong contacts and promising enquiries demonstrate that the MUNK Group is recognised as an innovative and reliable partner in rescue and access technology.

With a professional presentation, smooth operations and a well-coordinated team, the exhibition team made a lasting impression at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 – and set the bar high for future events.

Recruiting new members is one of the most important tasks for fire services across Germany. After all, voluntary fire protection would be unthinkable without dedicated volunteers.

The MUNK Group is therefore supporting the “Say YES to the Fire Service” campaign in partnership with Radio 7. Alexander Werdich, Managing Director and Chief Fire Officer in Reisensburg, and Ferdinand Munk, Emergency Services Officer for the district of Günzburg, are particularly passionate about this issue. As part of the initiative, fire services from the region have the opportunity to receive 40 seconds of airtime on Radio 7 to raise awareness of themselves and their work.

A special project for the people of Günzburg: a new communication and relaxation pavilion has been opened at Günzburg District Hospital – a place that offers hospital staff a space for relaxation, socialising and discussion.

The idea arose to mark the company’s 125th anniversary, during which Ferdinand Munk supported various social projects in the region. What began as a donation quickly grew into a genuine community project: companies, associations, the Günzburg Lions Club and numerous private individuals pulled together to make the pavilion a reality.

The result is impressive: a modern timber structure with a bar, seating area and direct access via a covered glass walkway – debt-free and realised with a great deal of passion. Regular activities such as yoga, table tennis tournaments and other community events are also planned.

For Ferdinand Munk, the project’s initiator and patron, the pavilion is more than just a building: “A place for people to meet – for exchange, joint planning and personal retreat.”
