    MUNK Group supports local kindergartens

Last Wednesday, we had the honor of welcoming 14 kindergartens from Günzburg and Leipheim to our premises.

Over light refreshments and punch, we took the opportunity to thank the teachers for their daily work and commitment. In addition to MUNK Bobby Cars for the little ones, each kindergarten received a MUNK ladder. Now, wobbly climbing aids such as chairs are a thing of the past.

  • An apprenticeship day in 2025

Yesterday, on apprenticeship day 2025, we welcomed 28 school pupils from the Günzburg district to our plants.

After an official welcome by Ferdinand Munk, the young people were given a comprehensive insight into various areas of our company. During the tour, they learned about logistics, toolmaking, special construction and series production, among other things, and were able to gain a direct impression of our work processes and apprenticeship professions.

A special highlight of the day was the practical part: all participants had the opportunity to assemble a personalised aluminium pen holder on their own – an individual souvenir of their visit and Apprenticeship Day.

Guests included District Administrator Dr Hans Reichhart, Brigadier General Thomas Hambach (Bavarian State Command), Government Director Axel Fritsche (BAAINBw) and Alfred Sauter, former Bavarian Minister of State.

The day before, some commission members visited the factory in Leipheim and took advantage of a joint dinner at the Waldvogel restaurant to exchange ideas.

MUNK Group recognised as a volunteer-friendly company

The Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Integration has honoured the MUNK Group with the award ‘Volunteer-friendly company – Together for more safety’ on the recommendation of the Swabian District Fire Brigade Association.

This award recognises the commitment of companies that actively support their employees in their voluntary work for society.
