Press release

Jump into action and carry out rescue, extinguish and recovery operations just like the grown-ups – all this is now possible for the youth fire brigades thanks to two new mobile containers from the Günzburger Steigtechnik range of rescue equipment. The premium manufacturer from Bavaria has developed these innovative products especially for the junior firefighting work done by youth fire brigades. Even the youngest firefighters can use them to train for emergency situations, while having a lot of fun in the process. The mobile containers are designed to look like cool fire engines. They are equipped with a flashing blue light, signal horn and pump control panel and also offer enough space for additional equipment.

"The fire brigades among our customers have recently been asking more and more for rescue equipment solutions that their junior members can train with. We can now respond to this active interest with our new products and are offering the mobile containers for youth fire brigades as part of our range of series products with immediate effect. We are delighted to be able to promote and support the junior work of fire brigades with these products. The emergency services of tomorrow will certainly have a lot of fun training with the mobile containers and feeling like their grown-up colleagues", emphasises Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

The mobile containers specially designed for junior firefighters from the family-owned company are available in two versions. Both are equipped with a flashing blue light, a signal horn and an integrated pump control panel, which ensure a realistic operating experience during training exercises. They also feature a robust construction with high-strength aluminium profiles and weatherproof plywood panels, and each has two compartments for equipment. Type 1 can be covered over with tarpaulins and snap fasteners, while type 2 is equipped with a roller shutter with espagnolette lock. This roller container version also shines with its air suspension system and a folding drawbar for ergonomic operation, which can also be removed to save space during transport. Type 1 is moved using a continuous handle bar. Both mobile containers have a parking brake that is operated by foot.
