Concentrated know-how, a whole range of innovations and a top-class 3D experience: all this awaits visitors to Interschutz 2022 at the Munk Rettungstechnik booth (booth J02 in hall 26). The technology and innovation leader for access equipment and mobile container solutions for fire, rescue and disaster relief operations will be presenting itself in Hanover with a new brand identity as a strong partner for fire brigades and aid organisations.
"Interschutz is the event par excellence for the fire-fighting and rescue sector. The last edition was held seven years ago. A lot has happened in this period. I am all the more pleased that we can finally present our highlights live again and introduce ourselves to the trade public with the new brand identity as Munk Rettungstechnik," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group (Günzburg). In 2021, Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH set the course for a future of strong growth and gave itself a new brand structure under the umbrella of the Munk Group: Munk Rettungstechnik is the business unit that represents the product range of multi-functional ladders, plug-in ladders and extension ladders, rescue platforms, toolboxes and mobile containers as well as the complete equipment house at its new company location in neighbouring Leipheim.
3D show to experience
The Interschutz presentation of Munk Rettungstechnik has it all: the rescue equipment experts present new products and also use completely new technologies for this purpose, such as a sensational audio-visual projection show that brings the wide range of roll containers to life in operation scenarios that can be experienced up close. "You've never experienced roller containers like this at a trade fair before. Visitors can really look forward to a spectacle," promises Ferdinand Munk "great cinema" at the Munk Rettungstechnik booth. Another highlight: VR goggles will allow visitors to experience other new products in a realistic virtual environment and beam themselves into various deployment scenarios.
Munk Rettungstechnik will not only be presenting all the new products and its classics from the product range live on site and virtually, but also in the new Rescue Equipment Guide No. 9, which will be reissued for Interschutz 2022. It will also be more digital than ever before. In addition to the print version, a new, highly functional digital version will also be available in time for Interschutz: Users will then be able to browse and navigate directly online in the digital guidebook at www.steigtechnik.de/katalog.
Personal exchange
For Ferdinand Munk and his team, the focus is always on direct communication with the emergency services, not only at the trade fair stand in Hanover. "Our rescue equipment experts are constantly in close exchange with fire brigades and aid organisations. This means we are close to the action. We immediately incorporate these practical requirements into the development of our products. We always develop our new products together with experienced experts from the fire and rescue services," says Ferdinand Munk and points to a current example. Because rescuing people on sloping terrain was difficult during the S-Bahn accident in Munich in mid-February, the rescue technology specialists at Munk Rettungstechnik developed an evacuation staircase with a flexible angle of attack as a supplementary part for the Munk rescue and work platform within just a few weeks "The following applies to the rescue forces: They must not lose any time in an emergency. This is also our claim when implementing ideas that can save lives," says Munk, who immediately had the stairs included in the standard range.
Always the right mobile container
For the quick and efficient transport of equipment and supplies to the site of operation, Munk Rettungstechnik offers a wide range of mobile containers that can be used for all purposes and requirements. It doesn't matter whether it's respiratory protection, hoses, foam agents or even power-lighting equipment. In addition to the wide standard range, there is also a wide range of pre-configured close-to-production solutions. These are the stars of the 3D projection show and can, of course, also be tried out directly on site at the exhibition booth.
Munk Rettungstechnik is also a valuable partner for rescue forces and aid organisations before and after operations - especially with the right equipment for the modern equipping of equipment houses, such as ladder test rigs for the regular load tests. Insights into the wide range of equipment for appliance rooms are also available in Hanover.
Quality that saves lives
At the Interschutz stand of Munk Rettungstechnik, the heart of every fire brigade equipment is of course also represented: With the different fire brigade ladders according to DIN EN 1147 or ÖNORM F 4047, the rescue and work platforms as well as the wide range of fire brigade boxes, the emergency services are optimally equipped for emergencies. "In every operation, the quality of the equipment can bring the decisive advantage - both for the emergency services and for the people to be rescued. Not a single life should be put in danger because of inadequate equipment of the rescue forces. That's why we manufacture premium-quality rescue technology solutions for the highest level of safety," says Ferdinand Munk.
As is customary at Munk Rettungstechnik, the experts also provide information on all regulations and the comprehensive training programme in a separate standards and training corner.
