Well secured into 2022

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik launches a whole range of new products - own brochure available

13/01/2022

Press release

A plus in work safety thanks to access technology solutions that are well thought out down to the last detail: This is how the technology and innovation leader Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik enters the new year and presents a whole range of brand new products in its 50-page brochure "Innovations 2022" - first and foremost the new assembly platform with stairway access or the new "Safety Guard" (SG) variants of the FlexxTower one-person scaffold as well as the rolling and folding scaffolds. These can now be equipped with a DIN EN 1004-compliant leading "Safety Guard" safety railing. The family of TRBS-compliant stepladders has been expanded to include variants that can be used on stairs and, above all, the new safety stepladder with integrated support screen on the top two steps.

With this innovation, which was developed in cooperation with BG Bau, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is the first manufacturer ever to offer a safety stepladder with an integrated screen to protect against improper handling. Because the top two steps of stepladders that can be accessed from both sides must not be climbed, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik has attached a magnetic panel on each side as a safety screen. Included in the delivery is a practical storage tray that can be hooked in on all sides. Also new is the stepped construction pit ladder promoted by BG Bau or the storey ladder with pre-mounted ladder head safety devices. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's new products brochure is available for download at www.steigtechnik.de or can be requested by calling 08221/3616-01 or vertrieb@munk-group.com. All innovations can also be found in the Climbing Technology Guide 2022, which will be available from March 2022.

"Safety made in Germany is our elixir - and we are again impressively proving this with our new and further developments in 2022. After all, it's all about users being able to rely 100 per cent on our products at all times," says Ferdinand Munk, the managing director and owner of the Munk Group. The quality manufacturer from Günzburg has always focused on the occupational safety of its customers with its product innovations.

This is also the case with the new assembly platform with stair access. It enables safe working at heights of up to 3 metres, and a swing-up staircase with 200 mm deep steps always ensures safe access to the rolling scaffold made of sturdy aluminium round tube. The working platform can be suspended at three heights so that the assembly platform can be used as flexibly as possible. Handrails on both sides, platform railings and a knee rail complete the maximum of working safety on the assembly platform with load class 2 for up to 1.5 kN/m2. The transport of the platform has also been thought out down to the smallest detail: with its castors, it is door-accessible even when assembled, and when folded up it can be used as a transport trolley, thus saving space during transport and in logistics.

Innovations in line with standards year after year

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik now offers its best-seller, the FlexxTower one-person scaffold, in an additional version that meets all the requirements of the new DIN EN 1004. This requires, for example, that mobile working platforms can be assembled, converted or dismantled without the need for personal fall protection. Continuous side protection must be guaranteed in every phase of assembly. The access technology experts from Günzburg therefore offer the new FlexxTower SG with a leading guardrail. SG stands for "Safety Guard" and this option is also available for all other rolling scaffolds and hinged scaffolds from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik. If you want, you can now also use the FlexxTower ideally in stairwells, because the popular one-person scaffold has been extended by two stairway kits for optimised access and passage especially for this purpose.

"We remain true to our motto of developing new products with new ideas for the best possible work safety every year. This is our claim as a technology and innovation leader in access technology. Especially with our completely newly developed safety stepladder, we are once again setting the pace. And more than ever, the direction is towards safety made in Germany," says Ferdinand Munk.

Sensible accessory kits

In 2022, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik makes it particularly easy for its customers to upgrade and modify existing access technology solutions. For this purpose, Ferdinand Munk and his team provide special accessory kits that serve as practical aids for everyday use. For example, the 2022 novelties brochure also includes the accessory kits "Safe Stand", "Ergonomics" or the "TRBS Kit". "We always want to offer our customers added value - and particularly sustainably. This also includes that our solutions can be used for as long as possible and can always be adapted to new application solutions. Because an investment in access technology from Günzburg is always an investment in the future," says Munk.
