Seminars at the company's own campus at its home locations in Günzburg and Leipheim, hotel seminars at many locations in Germany and a wide variety of topics with a lot of practical relevance: this is exactly what characterises the training concept of the Munk Group campus. The quality manufacturer from Bavaria offers seminars on ladders, steps and rolling scaffolds, fixed access technology and the popular ladder workdays through its service division Munk Service. The Munk Rettungstechnik site in Leipheim focuses on the testing and maintenance of portable fire brigade ladders, rescue platforms and roll containers. The Munk Group's training concept also includes company-specific in-house seminars. The new hotel seminar series starts on 20 September in Hamburg; seminars are held at the two home locations throughout the year. Info and dates at www.munk-group.com/campus.
"Our intensive seminars are a complete success. This is shown by the more than 20,000 employees from industry, trade, crafts and the service sector who have taken part in them over the past 25 years. We are very pleased that so many people from practice deepen their know-how for more occupational safety in our seminars. We carry safety made in Germany in our DNA. And with our training courses, we support the users in contributing to safety in their companies - and thus also to their own safety - every day anew," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director and owner of the Munk Group, happily.
Another advantage: with the in-house seminars, companies can also bring the experts of the Munk Group directly to their own premises. The time and content of the training courses can be individually adapted and there are no long journeys for the employees.
Inspection of proper condition
According to the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), the employer is required to ensure that the access equipment in companies and organisations is periodically inspected for proper condition by a person qualified to carry out the inspection. The seminars of the Munk Group are organised by the experts of its service division Munk Service. A plus for the participants: The access technology seminars are recognised by the Association for Safety, Health and Environmental Protection at Work and awarded at least one continuing education point. They are therefore suitable in accordance with § 5, Para. 3 ASiG.
High practical relevance
The content of the Munk Group's popular intensive seminars has been made even more practice-oriented in the latest new edition: The speakers use exhibits to demonstrate, for example, damage and wear limits, address possible misuse and provide tips and tricks for the maintenance and servicing of access technology. Questions such as "How high may a rolling scaffold be used outdoors?", "May a stepladder be shortened?" and "When do single ladders have to have a greater stand width?" will also be addressed in a practical manner.
All seminars are based on the contents of current regulations, such as TRBS 2121 Part 2, DGUV Information 208-016, or DGUV Principle 305-002 and the latest standards such as DIN 4567-5, DIN EN 1004-1 and DIN 18799-3.
Knowledge is generally applicable
The Munk Group's one-day seminars are aimed at employees from industry, commerce and trade, public authorities, the service sector as well as fire brigades and aid organisations. In just one day, they can acquire the necessary specialist knowledge for persons qualified to carry out inspections at the seminars "Ladders, Steps & Rolling Scaffolds" and the required expertise at the seminars "Fixed Access Technology", "Portable Fire Brigade Ladders", "Rolling Containers" and Climbing Ladder Workshop Days. These are particularly application-oriented, with a practical part and live assembly as well as speakers on the subject of fastening technology. The knowledge acquired in the Munk Group's training courses is not limited to specific manufacturers or makes, but is generally applicable and therefore suitable for all companies. All Munk Service seminars conclude with a certificate for the participants.
