Perfectly equipped for every mission

Munk Rettungstechnik presents access equipment and transport logistics at the Florian trade fair in Dresden

11/08/2023

Press release

Concentrated know-how and top-class innovations: this is what visitors to Florian 2023 can expect at the Munk Rettungstechnik stand (stand E18 in hall 1). The technology and innovation leader for access equipment and mobile container solutions for fire, rescue and disaster relief operations will be presenting itself in Dresden as a strong partner for fire brigades and aid organisations. A special trade fair novelty is in the luggage: the new mobile safety system SafeCaddy. The innovative system was explicitly designed to optimise preventive and defensive fire protection as well as first aid in buildings and on construction sites or at events. A special highlight: the SafeCaddy combines all the necessary equipment in a single mobile unit. Also on the stand is the extensive product range of multi-functional, plug-in and extension ladders, rescue platforms, toolboxes and roll containers, as well as the complete appliance room equipment

"The professional audience of the Florian knows very well that in an emergency every second can decide between life and death. That's why I'm sure that our latest innovation will also meet with great approval from them: With our new SafeCaddy concept, first responders bring their equipment safely, quickly and particularly smoothly directly to the scene of the emergency. This saves them valuable time and they can start fighting fires or taking life-saving immediate measures faster than ever before," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group.

The SafeCaddy is initially available in the three basic versions "fire protection", "mobile fire alarm system (BMA)" and "first aid". Depending on the intended use, it is equipped with valuable aids such as CO2 and powder fire extinguishers, a mobile fire alarm system or a fully automatic defibrillator, among others.

The three variants are each available pre-configured or unloaded and can also be subsequently expanded and retrofitted with additional accessories such as a tarpaulin with viewing window, an off-road sheet or further brackets to suit the specific user. Visitors to Florian can see what the mobile safety system looks like at the Munk Rettungstechnik stand.

Photoluminescent lifesavers

Thanks to Munk Rettungstechnik, Florian professionals are no longer groping in the dark at night, because from now on there are handle and rung coverings that become charged by UV radiation and make rolling containers and ladders visible in the dark. With the Ergo-Glow-Grip, the name says it all, because the luminescent handle bar ensures a comfortable grip and particularly ergonomic working thanks to its oval shape. In future, Munk Rettungstechnik's complete range of mobile containers will be equipped with the Ergo-Glow-Grip as standard ex works.

The glow version of the heat-insulating and non-slip rung covering for fire brigade ladders makes the ladder rungs glow conspicuously and thus increases the work safety of the emergency services even in the dark. The Ergo-Glow-Grip and the Glow rung covering are also available as retrofit kits so that users can make their existing equipment glow at a later date.

Wide range

Munk Rettungstechnik offers a wide range of roll containers for the quick and efficient transport of equipment and supplies to the site of operation, which can be used for all purposes and requirements. It doesn't matter whether it's respiratory protection, hoses, foam agents or even power-lighting equipment. In addition to the wide standard range, there is also a wide range of pre-configured close-to-production solutions. These can, of course, also be tried out directly on site at the exhibition stand.

Munk Rettungstechnik is also a valuable partner for rescue forces and aid organisations before and after deployment - especially with the right equipment for the modern equipment of appliance rooms, such as ladder test stands for the regular load tests. And if a visual inspection of the ladder after use reveals a defect such as a damaged rung protector or a frayed rope, the emergency services can be helped quickly: A product-specific QR code on their ladder takes them directly to the product's spare parts overview and, in the next step, they are conveniently guided to the enquiry form. Insights into the wide range of tool shed equipment are also available in Dresden.

Quality that saves lives

At the Florian presentation of Munk Rettungstechnik, the core pieces of every fire brigade equipment are of course also represented: With the different fire brigade ladders according to DIN EN 1147 or ÖNORM F 4047, the rescue and work platforms as well as the wide range of fire brigade boxes, the emergency services are optimally equipped for emergencies.

Munk Rettungstechnik presents all new products and its classics from the product range not only live on site, but also in the Rescue Technology Guide No. 9. In addition to the print version, a highly functional digital version is also available: Users can browse and navigate directly online in the digital guidebook at www.steigtechnik.de/katalog.

As is customary at Munk Rettungstechnik, the experts also provide information on all regulations and the comprehensive training programme in a separate standards and training corner.
