Press release

Trade fair premiere in Stuttgart: At its stand (H1.029) in Hall 1, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is presenting its new ergo platform for mobile scaffolding for the first time at Arbeitsschutz Aktuell, and the name says it all. With up to 40 per cent less weight, this product innovation from Günzburg ensures particularly ergonomic handling and more efficient working on mobile scaffolding. Thanks to its low weight, it significantly reduces the strain on workers during assembly, conversion and dismantling, thus also minimising the risk of accidents at work. The trade fair will also focus on other top products for occupational safety, such as the FlexxTower single-person scaffolding, the FlexxLift small lifting platform and the first vertical ladder configurator with realistic façade simulation.

"As a technology and innovation leader, we always want to offer users added value with our new products - and we have once again succeeded in doing so with the Ergo platform. It sets completely new standards when it comes to ergonomic working with mobile scaffolding. I am sure that the Ergo platform will also be an absolute trade fair highlight for trade visitors," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group. The composite material of the Ergo platform makes it up to seven kilograms lighter than the conventional version with a wooden screen printing plate, depending on the length, and therefore around 40% lighter. Thanks to its innovative material properties, the platform is also particularly robust and durable.

The new ergo platform from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik is suitable for all mobile scaffolding superstructures with scaffolding lengths of up to three metres and is available either with or without a hatch. "This means that anyone can configure their own scaffolding with ergonomic benefits and, of course, retrofit their existing equipment step by step. In practice, users protect their backs and will certainly be happy about every kilo they don't have to carry. And their companies reduce the number of unnecessary absences, which is particularly important in times of a shortage of skilled labour - so all parties benefit from this ergonomic advantage," says Ferdinand Munk.

Upwards in record time

The popular FlexxTower single-person scaffolding will also be on show at Arbeitsschutz Aktuell. With it, users can reach working heights of up to 6.10 metres all by themselves and in the shortest possible time. The SG version of the FlexxTower ensures maximum work safety: it is equipped with a leading safety railing and can be easily assembled and dismantled by one person. The FlexxTower SG has been included in the occupational health and safety bonus programme of the Employer's Liability Insurance Association of the Construction Industry (BG BAU). This means that users can receive subsidies when purchasing the one-person scaffolding from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik: The BG BAU will cover 25 per cent of the purchase costs, up to a maximum of 500 euros.

Quick and safe access to the top: With the FlexxLift

Users can reach working heights of up to 4.2 metres quickly and safely with the FlexxLift mini elevating work platform. The FlexxLift is driven smoothly without electricity via an ingenious mechanism and can be used by individuals on a mobile basis, regardless of location.

Vertical ladder configurator with wall simulation

As a special highlight, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik will also be presenting the new vertical ladder configurator, which guides users to the ideal solution at www.steigtechnik.de/en/configurator. It is the first configurator in the industry that allows users and planners to realistically simulate their own façade and design their perfect fixed ladder.
