Perfectly equipped for every mission

Munk Rettungstechnik presents access equipment and transport logistics at the RETTmobil International in Fulda

26/02/2024

Press release

Concentrated expertise and top-class innovations: this is what awaits visitors to RETTmobil International at the Munk Rettungstechnik stand (Stand E1513 in Hall J). The technology and innovation leader for access technology and mobile container solutions for fire, rescue and disaster operations will be presenting itself in Fulda as a strong partner for fire brigades and aid organisations. As a special highlight, the SafeCaddy mobile safety system will be celebrating its premiere at RETTmobil. The innovative system was explicitly designed to optimise preventive and defensive fire protection and first aid in buildings and on construction sites or at events. Another trade fair innovation is the glow version of the rope access ladders with photoluminescent rung covering. The glow rung coating is charged by UV radiation and makes the ladders visible in the dark. The extensive product range of multifunctional, extension and push-up ladders, rescue platforms, toolboxes and mobile containers as well as the complete tool shed equipment will also be on show.

"The specialist audience at RETTmobil knows very well that every second can make the difference between life and death in an emergency. That's why I'm sure that our latest innovation will also be very popular with them: With our new SafeCaddy concept, first responders can transport their equipment safely, quickly and particularly smoothly directly to the scene of an emergency. This saves them valuable time and allows them to start firefighting or life-saving emergency measures faster than ever before," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group.

The SafeCaddy is initially available in three basic versions: "fire protection", "mobile fire alarm system (BMA)" and "first aid". Depending on the intended use, it is equipped with valuable aids such as CO2 and powder fire extinguishers, a mobile fire alarm system or a fully automatic defibrillator.

The three variants are each available pre-configured or unloaded and can also be retrofitted with additional accessories such as a tarpaulin with a viewing window, an off-road plate or other brackets. Visitors to RETTmobil International can see what the mobile safety system looks like at the Munk Rettungstechnik stand.

Photoluminescent lifesavers

Thanks to Munk Rettungstechnik, trade visitors are no longer in the dark at night, as there are now handle and rung coverings that are charged by UV radiation and make wheelie bins and ladders visible in the dark. With Ergo-Glow-Grip, the name says it all, because the oval shape of the luminescent handle bar ensures a comfortable grip and particularly ergonomic working. The complete range of Munk Rettungstechnik mobile containers is equipped with the Ergo-Glow-Grip as standard.

At the RETTmobil, Munk Rettungstechnik will also be presenting its rope access ladders with the Glow rung covering for the first time. The Glow version of the heat-insulating and non-slip rung covering for fire service ladders allows the ladder rungs to glow conspicuously, thus increasing the work safety of the emergency services even in the dark. The Ergo-Glow-Grip and the Glow rung cover are also available as retrofit kits so that users can retrofit their existing equipment to make it glow.

Wide range

Munk Rettungstechnik offers a wide range of roll containers for the fast and efficient transport of equipment and supplies to the scene of an emergency, which can be used for all purposes and requirements. Regardless of whether it is respiratory protection, hoses, foaming agents or power-light equipment. In addition to the broad standard range, there is also a wide range of pre-configured, near-series solutions. These can of course also be tried out directly on site at the exhibition stand.

Munk Rettungstechnik is also a valuable partner for rescue services and aid organisations before and after deployment - especially with the right equipment for modern equipment sheds, such as ladder test stands for regular load tests. And if a defect such as a damaged rung protector or a frayed rope is noticed during the visual inspection of the ladder after use, the emergency services can also be helped quickly: A product-specific QR code on their ladder takes them directly to the product's spare parts overview and, in the next step, they are conveniently guided to the enquiry form. Insights into the wide range of shed equipment are also available in Fulda.

Quality that saves lives

At the RETTmobil presentation of Munk Rettungstechnik, the centrepieces of every fire brigade's equipment are of course also represented: With the various fire service ladders according to DIN EN 1147 or ÖNORM F 4047, the rescue and work platforms as well as the wide range of fire brigade boxes, the emergency services are optimally equipped for emergencies.

Munk Rettungstechnik will not only be presenting all the new products and classics from its product range live on site, but also in the Rescue Technology Guide No. 9. In addition to the print version, a highly functional digital version is also available: Users can browse and navigate the digital guide directly online at www.steigtechnik.de/katalog.

As is customary at Munk Rettungstechnik, the experts also provide information on all regulations and the comprehensive training programme in a separate standards and training corner.
