PVH vote: Munk remains front runner

Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik wins ‘Factory Equipment’ category for the ninth time

24/03/2025

Press Release

You can rely on ‘Safety made in Germany’: This is proven by the fact that Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik has once again been recognised as a ‘Partner of the Specialist Trade’ in the factory equipment product range. For the ninth time, the Bavarian quality manufacturer of access equipment took first place in the vote of the Production Connection Trade (PVH). The family-run company achieved top marks in the categories of product innovation, delivery capability and profit.

The ‘Partner of the specialised trade’ award is presented annually by the Tools Working Group (AKW) in the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH). In addition to the business equipment category, there are also categories for work safety, grinding/cutting tools, fastening technology, precision tools, measuring tools and hand tools.

‘The renewed top ranking in the PVH vote is once again proof that we are doing everything right with ‘Safety made in Germany’ - and another special highlight in our anniversary year ‘125 years of Munk’,’ says Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group. The top marks in the categories of product innovation and delivery capability make it clear what Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik's specialised trade partners and customers benefit from every day: From sophisticated, needs-orientated access technology solutions with which the Munk professionals make the working world a little safer every day. And from short, sustainable supply chains and manufacturing exclusively in the home district. ‘This is the only way we can always deliver quickly. This is another reason why our order books are always full - the top score in the earnings category goes hand in hand with our record turnover again last year. We will build on this great success and continue to do everything we can to stand unrivalled for first-class ‘security made in Germany’,’ says Munk.

Added value in practice

For Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik, ‘innovative access equipment’ means constantly offering users new added value in their everyday work with its new products and thus increasing sales opportunities for its specialised trade partners. The new SGX version of the popular FlexxTower single-person scaffolding, for example, shows what this looks like in practice, allowing users to easily reach working heights of up to 9.55 metres: The FlexxTower SGX has three levels instead of two and is equipped with safety railings and the Ergo platform for rolling scaffolding as standard. This is up to 40 % lighter than conventional platforms, significantly reducing the strain on workers and minimising the risk of accidents at work. The FlexxTower SGX can be assembled and dismantled by just one person without tools.
