Access Technology Guide 2020: New concept

Compendium scores with broader scope and easier to read

03/02/2020

Press Release

New concept, new products and more combined expertise than ever before: Günzburger Steigtechnik delivers all this in its new Access Technology Guide 2020. The compendium cannot fail to impress with its new look, more scope and an even clearer structure. In seven chapters spanning a total of 340 pages, the quality manufacturer from Bavaria incorporates its innovative solutions from its standard range, which includes over 1,600 items, and also showcases new products, such as the product configurator for made-to-measure stairs and bridging steps. The Access Technology Guide 2020 is again rounded off with an extensive service section on standards and regulations, as well as the company's seminars.

"Our aim is to create true added value for our customers through our expertise. This is something we put successfully into practice time and time again: as evidenced by our numerous new developments and also the new Access Technology Guide 2020. The sales documentation encompasses numerous product innovations and, with its new design and extra-clear layout, also further increases the benefits for customers. Once again, we are living up to our reputation as a premium manufacturer of access technology", says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

The new Access Technology Guide 2020 has been completely revised: its new appearance, broader scope and new structure are a winning formula. Sorting the range into key product groups and areas of application in particular helps to improve the guide's clear layout. Users especially benefit from the new structure when searching for products, a process that has been made significantly easier and is now supported with additional classifications. The compendium also includes an extensive service section and offers summary pages that bring together the added values of the various product groups.

New products compliant with TRBS 2121 Part 2

First-class work safety comes from the two-part push-up extension ladder with steps and step window cleaner’s ladder, for example: the new products were inspired by the new version of the TRBS 2121 Part 2 and meet the stricter requirements of the Technical Regulations for Operational Safety (valid since the start of 2019). According to these regulations, if ladders are used as a place of work, only steps rather than rungs are permitted to be used as the base areas alongside platforms.

Günzburger Steigtechnik has also developed the MaxxStep step module, which allows rung ladders to also be used for working at height. With this new innovation, rung ladders become TRBS-compliant in moments. MaxxStep can be attached easily, quickly and most importantly without any need for tools, and is available in various sizes.

Stairs and bridging steps made to measure

In the new Access Technology Guide 2020, the quality manufacturer from Bavaria showcases its new products, as well as the new product configurator. This new development complements Günzburger Steigtechnik's first-class customer support and features simple and intuitive operation. In just a few clicks, the company's customers can use it to put together their own bridging stairs, stairs and mobile platform steps online 24 hours a day. The required dimensions, versions and accessory components are all entered step by step. The result is displayed dynamically in real time using a rotating 3D model and scale drawing and, once saved, is immediately sent as a quotation, complete with illustration, by e-mail. The service is available from www.steigtechnik.de/konfigurator – there's also a demo video there that explains the online tool's functions.

As part of the product configurator's development, the stairs and bridging steps from Günzburg have recently been revamped. Thanks to their new, modular design, they can now be changed as required and flexibly expanded, while assembly is quicker than ever before. Even the standard versions are equipped with ideal stop castors, and additional added values, such as the new, modern appearance, complete the refreshed design.
