Press release

Sustainable service, quick and easy on your mobile phone display: Munk Rettungstechnik, based in Leipheim (Bavaria), is now the first supplier of access equipment and transport logistics for fire, rescue and disaster relief operations to establish a digital spare parts service. It's that simple: Take out your smartphone, scan the QR code - and you have an overview of the product and all spare parts, including individual assemblies and all individual parts. Alternatively, the new spare parts service can also be accessed at www.munk-rettungstechnik.de/en/spare-parts with a clear navigation menu.

practice, things have to be done quickly and every rescue worker knows that after the operation is before the operation. If a visual inspection of the ladder after use reveals a defect such as a damaged rung protector or a frayed rope, the emergency services can now get the spare part they need faster than ever," says Ferdinand Munk, owner and managing director of the Munk Group. Via the scan, the QR code conveniently leads users to the spare parts overview of their product and, in the next step, to the user-friendly enquiry form.

"Users can find everything they need to make their rescue equipment fit for the next use, right down to the last screw. We see our comprehensive spare parts service as a contribution to our sustainable overall concept. After all, our product range should support the emergency services for a lifetime," says Ferdinand Munk.

Digital top service: from practice, for practice

Like many of the quality manufacturer's innovations, this service was developed in close cooperation with emergency services: The experts at Munk Rettungstechnik regularly obtain feedback and requests from relief and rescue associations in order to be able to optimally respond to their needs.

"As a strong partner of fire brigades and aid organisations, it is our mission to make their work easier bit by bit with quality products and top service," says the owner and managing director, explaining the plan for the introduction of the new service feature: "The rescue and work platform Premium, the rope pull ladder 3-section as well as the multi-functional ladder and the upper and lower parts of the extension ladder form the basis of every fire brigade equipment. Starting with these five products, our rescue equipment solutions will gradually be equipped with this digital feature."

More information on the range of spare parts can also be found at www.munk-rettungstechnik.de/en/spare-parts.
